Over the past several weeks, the Litchfield 7th graders have been working on a grade wide IB Unit, called My Water, My World. During this time, we have learned about the importance of having clean, safe water, and the difficulties many face in getting it. How do we clean and filter water? Can we turn ocean water into drinking water? Where is the largest supply of fresh water in the world? How hard do people have to work to get water? Those are just some of the questions that the students answered, and then displayed their work on their boards, in teams of four. The final presentation in the cafeteria, attended by teachers, parents, and district administration members, was very well done. Awesome job, Litchfield 7th graders!
