On Friday, February 24, Litchfield celebrated Black History Month with an all-school assembly in the gym during 8th and 9th periods. There were presentations by students (reading biographies of major Aftrican American influencers on our country), the Litchfield choir, step team, and cheerleaders. Our guest speaker then gave us a brief look into the life of Nat Turner. Finally, Mrs. Austin's advisory was announced as the winner of the Black History Month door decorating contest.
